During the week of March 14th - 19th 2011 Dart Music International staged the DMI House in Austin TX. The week long music festival was free to the public and featured an impressive, eclectic and groundbreaking lineup of music from around the world.
Some of the event's highlights included staging 6 bands from 6 continents back to back, 3 days in a row - something that simply has NEVER been done before. The event also featured Iranian and Isreali musicians performing together.
The DMI House was produced by Dart Music International and Same Sky Productions and was sponsored by Treaty Oaks Rum, Mueller Law, Voodoo Cowboy, Harris Radio and Indie Sounds.
The event made history by showing the first musical performance from outer space. This video was made specifically for the DMI House by astronaut Cady Coleman from aboard the International Space Station. We are proud to share this with you now and would like to thank everyone who made it out to The DMI House to witness history in person.
