Do not believe me? Here it is, in Mike Arrington's own words. I will admit I submitted my site (myVidster) to TC in a vain hope for a review. I have nothing against TC, but he admits that you need to know the right people, have major VC backing or just plain luck.
In conclusion if you are someone who has created a startup with your own money and time and it does not look like a million dollar project then TC will most likely ignore you.
