First off, for those of you who actually watch my let's play videos it's Christmas week so I'm taking a break. Got some lovely Texas weather down here which means I'll be facing tornadoes soon.
Now then, a lot of gamers are still stuck in the days where money was used to buy things that you want and to maintain what you need, like food, but in today's rapidly changing world that isn't going to cut it anymore! Money is so much more than just a tool to buy things that you want in a free to play game!
Remember, every gaming company has at least one person watching the sales figures and reporting back to big brother at the office. Whenever you buy something you become part of a much larger statistic that they'll analyze in an attempt to maximize profits. Done correctly, you could get them to think that people buy more stuff when the developers focus on optimization and bug fixing. Done wrong, you could get them to think that the developers don't need to do anything at all.
So remember your wallet's true power and use it wisely my fellow gamers.
Also please forgive the quality of the video. OBS and my laptop's webcam apparently don't see Eye to Eye.
