Five trademarks later (and yes, if you are wondering, Martha does own the word Bare®), and a 280+ product line of exotic scents and luxurious formulas with names like Bare-ly Legal®, and a travel collection called Barefly®, Martha's journey into the highly competitive arena of beauty skin care and upscale resale fashion is a lighthearted tale. Intrigued by the challenge of building a skincare line to meet her own strictly drawn requirements, Martha introduced Bare® - one-of-a-kind luxurious inventions, containing pure, all natural ingredients without harsh preservatives, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances. Bare® hand whipped body butters, lotions, and potions are individually packaged in turn-of-the-century inspired apothecary jars with silvery lids. Better yet, "they are tested on Martha's friends and family, not on animals".
