Police have released vision of a hit-and-run crash in Sydney’s south-west as they appeal for victims and witnesses to come forward.
About 7.20pm on Thursday (28 January 2016), a group of people were standing on the road in Narelle Crescent, Greenacre, when a white Nissan Pulsar crashed into them before driving from the scene.
The Pulsar was later found abandoned on Ivy Street.
Police from Bankstown Local Area Command are investigating the incident and have identified a 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman who were injured in the crash. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
It is believed there were two or three other people injured during the incident and despite conducting extensive inquiries with hospitals and medical practitioners, detectives have not been able to identify them and are concerned about their welfare.
Detectives have released CCTV from the incident as they appeal for witnesses or anyone who may have information about the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to come forward.
