A North Carolina man is the first person ever to have a new kind of prosthetic hand that allows him to have individual finger control. Gaston and Bryan Loeffler researched and developed the new prosthesis and successfully performed a surgery so it’ll fit on the patient’s hand. Before this, a hand amputee with a prosthesis could move the thumb and move four fingers at the same time as one unit. But now, they can move those fingers separately. Posted By Persist
