The newly launched Osmo+ is the latest in the Osmo series from DJI - which we were lucky to get our hands on ahead of release to bring all our visitors a review and unboxing of this handheld gimbal and new zoom camera.
As you'll see in the video, we were really impressed with the new Zenmuse X3 Zoom camera (7x zoom in total, comprised of a 3.5x optical zoom and 2x digital lossless zoom) that's included with the Osmo+. DJI have done a fantastic job of integrating all the features of the Osmo+ into the DJI Go app too.
The gimbal works really well, creating consistently smooth video while we're moving around, giving us the chance to capture the perfect shot without worrying about stabilisation.
The Osmo+ camera shoots 4K video at 30fps and 1080p video at up to 100fps for amazing slow motion shots.
The box includes an external microphone, which does improve the quality of sound recording, but if you're really serious about sound, you might want to look at an upgraded microphone.
