I am a Lady Gaga fan. I’ve also sort of been since “Just Dance†came out. I remember as vividly as you can being plastered off your face dancing to it in the club. But since then my love for her has been tested when Art Pop was released. As she stated on her Applause lead single: “If fame only had an IV.â€
But Lady Gaga has been giving us life the past little while. She won Best Actress at The Golden Globes for her role in American Horror Story. And she also slayed her performance of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.†So it came as no surprise that she did an amazing job opening the Super Bowl 50 with the Star Spangled Banner.
She belted out notes I didn’t even know were possible. All the while dressed head to toe (eye makeup included) in red. Her shoes were ridiculously high and showcased some patriotic colors. I’m unsure if they are an American print yet.
It’s pretty stellar how she can walk and sing in those. After her performance she even ran up to someone and gave them a big hug in them.
