what uses less gas - coasting or engine braking

is it more efficient to coast in neutral or in gear data overlay obd2 link - http:amznto2fzmyi3garmin 4k camera used - http:amznto2fzssq0subscribe for new videos every wednesday - https:googlvzstk7what uses less gas coasting in neutral or engine braking of course the answer is it depends a simple example if you039re approaching a red light and know that it039s going to remain red engine braking will slow you down without using any fuel and will be the most efficient option if you know for a fact that the light is going to turn green before you reach it which you don039t but hypothetically then it039s more efficient to coast in neutral and maintain your speed then get back on the accelerator once the light has turned green engineering explained is a participant in the amazon services llc associates program an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazoncom don039t forge
no showdown floyd mayweather039s strength amp conditioning coach says fight with manny pacquiao won039t happen because of bob arum floyd co-signs via twitter new video

floyd mayweather039s strength and conditioning coach alex ariza did an interview with fight hype and said that while mayweather will be fighting on may 2 the fight won039t be against manny pacquiao he also said that pacquiao039s manager bob arum is the reason mayweatherpacquiao isn039t going to happen we039re fighting may 2 he said but it039s not going to be manny pacquiao as soon as we get rid of him arum we can get it on ariza obviously doesn039t have the final say when it comes to who mayweather does and doesn039t fight but his comments are interesting because mayweather took to twitter last night to co-sign everything that ariza said posted by persist
ronda rousey takes shot at floyd mayweather039s reading skills

ronda rousey and floyd mayweather are never going to get into the ringoctagon together regardless of how much people seem to want it to happen but their war of words is probably going to keep us entertained for years to comeif you haven039t been keeping up with it here039s a quick update: mayweather addressed rousey as a quothequot during an interview last year rousey responded by bringing up mayweather039s various domestic violence incidents earlier this year she then doubled down on that by taking another shot at mayweather during the 2015 espy awards and mayweather responded by playing the quoti039m richer than youquot card in response to it before trying to bury the hatchet with rousey earlier this monthrousey isn039t quite ready to call a truce yet though and tmz sports has the proof she spoke with a paparazzo about how things have been going with her recently and during her interview she took aim at mayweather by claiming that she makes more money per second than he doesand saying that mayweather can text her to talk about it once he learns how to readquotfloyd said 039you make 300 million a night then you can give me a call039quot she said quoti actually did the math and given the numbers of my last fight i039m actually the highest-paid ufc fighter and i039m a woman i think i actually make two to three times more than he does per secondso when he learns to read and write he can text mequotouch you can watch rousey039s entire interview here how long until mayweather responds he039s got a fight to promote so you can probably expect something anyyyyyyy second nowsubscribe to complex for more: http:googlpjelolcheck out more of complex here:http:wwwcomplexcomhttps:twittercomcomplexmaghttps:wwwfacebookcomcomplexhttp:instagramcomcomplexmaghttps:plusgooglecomcomplexcomplex is a community of creators and curators armed with the internet committed to surfacing and sharing the voices and conversations that define our new america our videos exemplify convergence culture exploring topics that include music sneakers style sports and pop culture through original shows and complex news segments featuring your favorite celebrities authoritative commentary and a unique voice our videos make culture popronda rousey takes shot at floyd mayweather039s reading skills from complex
why aren039t all the primaries on the same day

because iowa and new hampshire have taken american politics hostage that039s why subscribe to our channel http:googl0bsajo---the presidential primaries effect us all so why does it seem like it039s decided by a few random people in the middle of nowherewell technically it039s not delegates are for the most part awarded based on population and are selected by primary voters or caucus-goers in all 50 statesbut that039s not the whole story timing matters and it matters a ton voters in iowa and new hampshire who have already voted basically end up having votes that are five times as powerful than the rest of usthe power of the media and how people respond to earlier results make a huge difference a win in iowa or new hampshire can give candidates momentum in later states and a loss can force others to drop out before most states even vote which means if you live in a state with a later primary your vote really doesn039t matter muchiowa and new hampshire like going first voters there reward politicians who promise to let them keep going first both states even have laws that require them to schedule their nominating contests before any other statesso how come there isn039t a national primary day so our votes are really equalwatch our new video above and these squirrelly little legos will explain if you039d like more a couple other installments of our primaries series are here and stay tuned next tuesday when we039ll explain who votes in presidential primaries---voxcom is a news website that helps you cut through the noise and understand what039s really driving the events in the headlines check out http:wwwvoxcom to get up to speed on everything from kurdistan to the kim kardashian app check out our full video catalog: http:googlizonyefollow vox on twitter: http:googlxfrz5hor on facebook: http:googlu2g06o
sam harris: can psychedelics help you expand your mind

sam harris discusses the virtues of psychedelics such as lsd and mdma while he does not condone the use of these drugs without caveat he does acknowledge their profound consciousness-altering properties harris is the author of waking up: a guide to spirituality without religion http:googl2n8ckvread more at bigthinkcom: http:googl8volzufollow big think here:youtube: http:googlcptsv5facebook: https:wwwfacebookcombigthinkdotcomtwitter: https:twittercombigthinktranscript: well many people ask me about the virtues of psychedelics because ive written about this on my blog and in my book waking up and they were at a point early in my inquiry they were indispensable and this is an experience thats shared by many westerners its hard to really recommend psychedelics without serious caveats because some of them i think are probably neurotoxic some are really well tolerated but still you can have very scary destabilizing experiences on them so you just cant without a caveat recommend that people drop acid or take mdma so its everything i say on the subject should be understood in that context but for some people taking a drug is the only way theyre going to notice that its possible to have a very different experience of the world theyre sufficiently lumpen and uninquisitive about the nature of their own minds that if you tell them to meditate if you teach them mindfulness if you tell them how to follow their breath they will look inside for 30 seconds or 30 minutes and see nothing of interest and walk away feeling that theres no there there either it doesnt work for them or that everyone else must be just faking it or theres it requires a certain talent and a certain degree of luck therefore to have enough concentration to connect with any spiritual practice the first time or even the tenth time or even after a year of attempting it because its just these practices are difficult and the conditioning of our minds to just ceaselessly talk is deepso as terence mckenna once said psychedelics are the only method that truly guarantee an effect and this effect can be again very painful youre not necessarily going to have a good experience but theres no question that if someone gives you 100 micrograms of acid something is going to happen two hours later the significance of your existence will have just been borne down on you like an avalanche and again this can be terrifying or it can be absolutely sublime depending on various causes and conditions but the one thing it cannot be is boring and that is you cant say that about yoga or meditation or just going into solitude or anything else that any other you know non-pharmacological means of inquiry so where drugs have been indispensable for many people is in advertising the possibility of a change in consciousness and so i dont think theyre durable methods for people that i dont think you need or should just keep taking drugs month after month year after year as a mode of spiritual inquiry but theres certainly a period in many peoples lives at the beginning where you wouldnt even see a glimmer of reason to suspect that a radical change in the nature of your experience would be possiblemy first experience with psychedelics that was important that actually shifted my view of human possibility was with mdma which i took before it became a club drug i think this was in 1987 i took it and no one i knew no one of my generation had taken it and although the drug obviously goes back many decades before that and it had not been adopted by popular culture as a party drug so this was coming pretty much coming out of the therapeutic community people were doing in a closeted way psychotherapy with it and i took it as a means of discovering something about the nature of my mind it was not a social situation i was just a friend and i were alone and we took it together and just had a conversation on this drug and what was revelatory about it was that it was an experience of absolute sobriety it was not there was no druggy component to it we just became clearer and clearer and clearer in our thinking and feeling and the crucial component of this was a loss of any feeling of self-concern transcript truncateddirected produced by jonathan fowler dillon fitton and elizabeth rodd
