can you use your pee to start a fire you039ll know after you see this if you like survival and fire-making techniques this video is a must seewwwthekingofrandomcomwarning: this project should not be attempted without adult supervision and adequate training misuse or careless use of tools or projects may result in serious injury property damage andor death use of this video content is at your own riskmusic by kevin macleod stormfront stomp dancehttp:incompetechcomthis isn039t looking good at all what was supposed to be an easy day hike is quickly turning into a life threatening situation you039re highest priority is to get a fire going before nightfall but you can039t use your water bottle because all your clean water is gone this is a challenge that039s going to require a little more creativity you039re going to have to light this fire with your pee for this project you039re going to need some of that special yellow liquid and the timing is great because with all that water you drank nature is calling you can use a container like your water bottle to collect as much as possible now that039s really not a lot and it looks like you039re still a little dehydrated but you039re going to have to make it work when you flip the bottle over and attempt the water bottle trick from a previous video it doesn039t seem to be working and that039s because you don039t have enough fluid in your bottle you try removing the label to see if that helps but it039s not making much of a difference ok time to check your lunch bag to see what other resources you have there039s a bag of celery sticks that could be useful but here039s something even better your apple is wrapped with a plastic wrap perfect carefully remove the wrapper making sure not to rip it and now you039re going to need some rocks when you place these rocks in a circle they039ve formed a crude concave mold the rocks help form the wrapper into a bowl shape and now you can add the liquid when it039s filled to the edges grab all the sides and hold them together at the top making this into a little liquid pouch twisting this pouch while holding at the top helps remove any air and seals the liquid inside when you twist the excess plastic around your middle finger like a ring then wrap it around the base to hold it in place the pressure can be adjusted and you039ve got yourself a great little liquid lens that039s easy to use it039s magnifying very well so time to test it out on some tinder one of the pages from your map should work perfectly so focus the sunlight on the darkest ink you can find because this will absorb the heat it039s incredible how quickly this starts smoking and where there039s smoke there039s a hope of fire a hole is burning in the paper now and when it039s about the size of a quarter it039s pretty well self sustaining without wasting any time try adding layers of dry grass and blowing gently to add some air it039s getting hot and smoking quite a bit so just blow a little stronger and success you039ve got a flame without wasting any time build your fire up and it039s finished you just lit a fire with your pee well there039s a little trick most people will never have to use but might be good to know just in case if you liked what you saw become a subscriber by clicking here and you039ll be notified when i post new videos give this video a thumbs up and share with your friends i appreciate your support thanks for watching

if mythbusters busted it why does mine work i make a real working paper plate speaker for under 100 and show you howwwwthekingofrandomcom claim made here: http:wwwyoutubecomwatchv=ya9zskyjrret=2m7smythbusters busted it here: http:wwwyoutubecomwatchv=ya9zskyjrret=4m4smusic by http:wwwdanosongscom gem droidsproject inspired by: kipkaymakemagazine http:youtubeeibzq_8-aamthe idea of making a speaker out of a paper plate is intriguing and to do it for under a buck is even better but first i039ll have to understand how a speaker works i039ve still got these 8 ohm speakers from a previous video and i039ll sacrifice this one in the name of discovery i039ll use a utility knife to cut the cone away from the surround exposing the basket as well as this yellow diaphragm known as a spider i039ll cut through that and snip these 2 wires and am impressed at how simple a speaker really is the bottom of the basket is attached to a strong ceramic magnet with a hole just big enough to allow this voice coil to vibrate in i039ll use a foam bowl for the basket an 85quot paper plate for the speaker cone 6 button magnets and then a piece of printer paper to form my voice coil this brings my pro-rated cost to about 080 for this soon to be speaker but what about insulated copper wire that can be expensive and where do i get it there has to be some inside this old tv but i don039t have a sledge hammer to bust it open so i039m going to have to get creative ok i039m down to the circuit boards and there039s the piece i039m after a small audio transformer these things are packed tight with the perfect wire for this project i039ll use my pipe wrench pliers to rip that off the board then use my bench vise to crack the ceramic casing off i039ll peel off the insulating tape and presto i039ve got a nice roll of insulated copper wire for free i039m ready to start building and i039ll make the voice coil first i039ll start by cutting a few strips of paper and rolling them around my stack of magnets i039ll wrap the wire about 50 times and then use some hot glue to keep it in place when that039s dry i can pull the magnets and the inside layers of paper out leaving just this shell the voice coil is done but it039s too long so i039ll snip it to size and then hot glue it to the bottom side of the paper plate while that039s drying i039ll cut some holes in the sides of the bowl to make it look more like a proper speaker basket i039ll hot glue my magnet stack to the bottom and slide the coil over top to see how it fits it moves freely because of the gap i made earlier and it039s looking good so i can hot glue the plate to the bowl and hit it with a little spray paint for aesthetics when the paint dries there039s only 1 thing left to do and that039s remove the coating from the ends of the wires so i039ll do that with a lighter ok it039s ready for a test so i039ll hook it up to my tv with some alligator clips and see what happens well there you go my 80 cent speaker is working and if quota paper plate speaker for less than a dollar really is too good to be truequot then i039m calling this myth un-busted but it039s not very loud the magnets are cheap and weak so i039m going to try something stronger i039ll use this super strong 1quot n48 neodymium magnet i just got in the mail i039ll roll it up and add some 26 gauge wire i pulled out of a sump pump motor and hot glue to secure it the magnet and inner layers come out and the paper gets trimmed to size hot glue that to the plate and glue the lead wires right about here this time i039ll use another plate as my base and these markings are for some supports i039ll need to build i039ll make those out of a 3rd plate just by trimming out the bottom into a rectangle folding them accordion style and cutting into 2 pieces i039m gluing them to my base plate with the feet facing inward and these will act as a type of shock absorber for the speaker plate i039ll add some glue to the tops and join them to the plate making sure my coil is overtop the magnet a quick manual test and it seems the suspension on this is perfect i039ll burn the coating off the tips of the wires and now it039s time to test this one out i039m disconnecting the external speakers from my tv and using these alligator clips to connect the leads to my plate i039m anxious to see how the paper plate does with the stronger magnet that039s pretty impressive it039s amazing to think that all that sound is coming from this flimsy little plate but it is just for fun i039m going to pour in some water to see what happens that039s probably the coolest thing i039ve seen all day well that was a fun project i un-busted a myth and made a huge mess in the living room that039s it for now if you liked what you saw please take a second to quotlikequot this video and share your thoughts in the comments below
