Turkey has expressed anger over the two blasts that hit al-Rihania area on the borders with Syria. Ankara has accused Damascus of involvement in the attack that left dozens of people dead and many injured.
Syria's minister of information Omran al-Zou'bi condemned the attack expressing condolences to the Turkish people. Al-Zou'bi said no one in Turkey has the right to accuse Syria of al-Rihania explosions.
The Syrian minister also blamed Ankara and especially Turkish Prime Minister for the recent attacks and slammed Turkey for opening its borders to allow stream of armed terrorists enter Syria.
Analysts say the latest attacks were committed by those who benefited most from the current status quo.
The Rihaniya bombings coincided with the recent advances of the Syrian military against westerm backed terrprosts. The Syrian Armay have managed to to bring back security to most of the country's main highways , and gained the upper hand against western backed armed elements by pushing them out of the suburbs of the capital Damascus, and areas in western cities of Dara'a, Aleppo and Homs.
The Syrian government said Turkish minister of interior wants to manufacture evidence of Syria's involvement in the attack. According to Syria's minister of information, Erdogan's accusation aims only to undermine chances of a political solution to the unrest in Syria and justify foreign intervention there. All this just days prior to his meeting with the US president.
