Do you want to find a life coach who can help you overcome adversity and face your problems with courage? Are you ready to start achieving more success and accomplishing your goals so that you can feel more empowered? What she is really saying is you have to have self discipline once you know what you want to do. Most of us don't get moving until we hit rock bottom and are mad. Everyone has a different level of contentment. That's why some people will get busy when they are 10 pounds over weight, while others will let it go until they need to lose 50 or more. You have to either get pissed and get moving, or maybe try her advice and move once the thought hits you. We all know there is no results without action. Its called "Procrastination", or in other words, failure in installments. Some people might not agree with her that we should force ourselves out of our comfort zones, but I agree with her. My motto is a quote I found online: 'Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.' Basically, you should not give yourself any boundaries if you have the impulse to do something that sets your soul on fire or what makes you happy. This speech really motivates me. If you have an impulse to do something you want to do, do it. Don't have doubts, you'll regret not doing things later. When you turn 18 it's your job to parent yourself, to do the crap you don't want to do, to be everything you are not supposed to be. In my experiences, I will say less hispanics adopt this ideology. Caucasians often relinquish parental responsibility at 18. Asians and Hispanics live in dynamic families and continue to support and encourage and provide. This can also be argued to be counter productive. To the commentators who say that your "wants" aren't always what is good for you or others, (or some variation of that,) and 5 seconds isn't long enough to think things through- etc., I say- how can you find your "purpose" if you don't discover what you like/love or what gives you the feeling of fulfillment, by taking action? The point is, DO SOMETHING! (but don't think about it for too long first) That's how you discover things that work or don't work for you. Little things can lead to bigger, better things. We are like a beautiful piece of fresh fruit or veggie; firm, ripe, full of potential to become something wonderful- but if we do nothing, we simply rot and wither away which is why you need to find a life coach.
