The Nicolae Balcescu Park is a nice quiet place for spending free time in the southern part of the historical center of Oradea. This old park have a lot of old trees which offer good shade. In the park is a big statue of Nicolae Bălcescu, and the Éva Heyman Memorial. In this park is also a big playground place for children with all kind of device, so children can play. There are organized a lot of events from spring until late in the autumn. Right beside this park you will find a parking place for your car. Very close from this park is the Oradea Zoo where you can spend a good quality time with family.
