Named after their dense, lustrous coat of beautiful golden fur. They are fabulous outgoing, trustworthy family dogs and are also natural athletes. An extremely intelligent companion, always wanting to love and please, they’re great with kids, very protective of their humans and tend to get along well with other pets. Goldens can reach a weight of 55 – 75 lbs, and a height between 21.5 – 24â€.
Swimming and fetching are their natural pastimes as Golden Retrievers have an instinctive love of water and are easy to train. Golden Retrievers require fairly regular grooming.
