This is for my hardcore Chaka Khan fans. I love you if you know anything about this here. This is the 45 version of her tribute to John Coltrane from the 1987? album "Destiny". It was only released as a single. Not sure what THAT was about but theres a shorter version of it on the actual album. Weird. Anyway, I got my hands on the 45 and made an MP3 and decided to do it for you. I may do the BeBop Medley next....but that songs a bastard to sing in one sitting. So we'll see. I love this side of Chaka. Its what made me a fan. Her ear is just plain insane and we rarely get to hear the intricate musicality that songs like this pull out of her. #TeamChaka
