If there’s one way to sum up Kentucky’s feelings to losing against Indiana in the second round, it’s pretty much summed up by crying saxophone girl.
Much like Villanova crying Piccolo girl, this young lady has become the meme of March Madness. All of the Kentucky state was pretty much feeling what she was feeling.
Which makes it a point that if you’re apart of a big school in the NCAA, it’s probably not a good idea to cry. Else the camera will pan to you, zoom right in, and broadcast that one sentimental moment to millions of people. And out those millions of people one will screen capture it, put on Twitter. And then JLD MAG will make a video about it.
But is being a meme such a bad thing? I mean, Villanova’s crying Piccolo player ended up on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, performed for the roots, and got tickets to Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour. It’s not so bad after all. You’re welcome.
And hey crying Kentucky Saxophone playing girl, if you get World Tour tickets, remember me on the way up.
