Dixie Hollins High School's Graphic Arts Academy trains students for careers in printing, web design, digital design and commercial arts. In this webisode of "In the Works," students learn how to create artwork for use on the web or promotional materials, print using a variety of mediums, including silk screening, and create their own film where they tackle everything from scriptwriting to scoring and editing. The episode also features a recent Graphic Arts Academy graduate who works as a manager of locally owned Trinity Graphics. Students also hear industry advice from staff from St. Petersburg College's Digital Arts, Media and Interactive Web Design Program.
