In Mind Over Business -- the subtitle of which is "How to Unleash Your Business and Sales Success by Rewiring the Mind/Body Connection" -- performance psychologist Ken Baum takes his years of experience working with everyone from Olympic medalists and NCAA champions to Fortune 500 companies and small businesses and gives them an Everyman spin.
What I liked about working with Ken is that he doesn't over-promise. He lays out a series of steps, tweaks and adjustments that can make large or small improvements to your career and life. How far you take them is entirely up to you.
Working with Ken, I got to interview Olympic athletes such as skater Sasha Cohen and bobsled world champion Steve Mesler. Hearing their stories first hand convinced me that Ken has an approach that can work for a lot of people.
