1 hour vinyasa yoga flow with Fightmaster yoga. This live, free, heart opening yoga flow was filmed during a Fightmaster Yoga retreat in magical Sedona, AZ at Angel Valley. One of our yoga retreat group requested to practice Urdvha Dhanurasa (upward facing bow pose, also known as "wheel"). To prepare for this challenging vinyasa yoga posture, we must correctly warm up and educate our bodies. In this vinyasa flow, we do that by stretching the shoulders, upper back, and hip flexors. It's also important to keep the belly muscles engaged, the hip bones lifting toward the lower ribs and the sitting bones lengthening toward the backs of the knees as you spiral your inner thighs in toward each other. These actions will keep stability in your lower back, preventing too much arch there. Remember to practice deep backbends mindfully. Take your time and rest whenever you need to.
