NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope revealed that there is statistically at least one planet around every star in our galaxy and opened our eyes to the diversity of worlds beyond our solar system. Some of these worlds have been identified as being near Earth-size and in the “habitable zone†of their parent stars. Kepler’s discoveries have taken us one giant step further in our search for life in the galaxy.
