Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, sister of Congress President Rahul Gandhi who has been campaigning for her mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Raebareli said on Wednesday took an indirect dig at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over the issue of women empowerment. Speaking at an election meeting in Raebareli, Priyanka Gandhi said, "If you speak of women empowerment, don't listen to our phone conversations behind closed doors" as an indirect reference on the much controversial snoop gate issue in Gujarat under Modi government. "Leaders who indulge in such wrong deeds, who commit atrocities against women, should be thrown out of party. They must take women forward; must ensure women reservation. Are they willing to do it, you must ask them" urged Priyanka.
