About Kolley:
Kolley Smith was born in New Orleans and raised by way of Bassfield, MS (Pop 235). He hasn't always lived the ideal life. "I used to wonder why spiders spit silk / until I realized death is still God's Gift / So make your negatives into positive," states Kolley on a featured record about his hardships.
At a young age Kolley and his family moved from New Orleans to a rural area of Mississippi called Bassfield where his grandmother resided growing up with a single mother and a father who was in and out of prison (still incarcerated) Kolley took on the man of the house position at a young age. At the age of 12 his mother passed, so from that point he's been in and out of the projects of Bassfield and his grandmother's home. 57 Garnett is where Kolley honed his skill rapping for food stamps as a kid.
Now at the age of 26 Kolley is one of the new premiere artists breaking out of the south he's garnered the attention of numerous top tier publications as well as artist such as his home state hero Big KRIT. KRIT's contribution and influence on Kolley has made him one of the most sought after unsigned talents.
RNS features production from Big KRIT, Zaytoven, Metro Boomin, 808 Mafia, Bobby Johnson, and Chase n Ca$he.
