Not even close! According to exercise scientists, you would have to do TWENTY TWO THOUSAND crunches to burn a single pound of fat!
WOW...no wonder why most of the people you see at the gym doing crunches and situps are overweight. They think their workouts are "targeting" their belly fat, but they're actually doing almost nothing.
That's why I quit doing crunches YEARS ago, and I used to a totally new and different approach to get my abs. I just posted a video showing you exactly what I did instead of crunches -- check it out here:

I love this way of working out because it gets me lean and toned, and the workouts only take 20 minutes. And even better -- I can skip the gym, and do all the workouts at home with no equipment!
