Why is the measurement of cereals in 50g portions as in the amount of calories, sugar, saturated fat and salt etc that each 50g serving contains. Considering the average bowl or portion is at least 100g or over. Is the 50g measurement deliberately kept low as to deceive the consumers that around 50g is the average serving or bowl and the ingredients of that 50g doesn't seem so bad.
Some cereals will give you the breakdown what 100g contains on the back of the packet, why not on the front? Because we can't be bothered looking on the reverse of the packet when your 50g contains whatever % of your daily limit, that is on the front of the packet.
