QUICK-thinking rescue workers saved a panicked wild leopard from a deep well. Early on Sunday morning, a local farmer alerted the Junnar Forest division, in the Maharashtra state of India, that a leopard had fallen into a local well. Forester Vitthal Thorat and locals gathered dried sticks and tied them together to create a platform that could be suspended form the top of the well using wires. The leopard immediately jumped out of the water to cling to the platform as the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre team made their way to the site. Videographer / director: Wildlife SOS Producer: Hannah Stevens, Ellie Winstanley Editor: Joshua Douglas
