About me: I'm a simple essay writer who wants to
break into the world of playwriting. awriter.org
It's really challenging because I'm not
used to creating fictional characters and bringing
them to life. I'm more used to sharing my
thoughts, feelings and opinions about certain
topics. But I realized that I won't be able
to grow as a writer if I experiment with the
different fiels of writing...which is why I chose
to pursue playwriting. I'm currently taking a
Playwriting class so that I can have a better
chance at improving my playwriting skills. I
volunteer for a theater group that focuses on
producing plays for children. It can be very
challenging, but it's very fulfilling,
especially if you can see children bringing your
characters to life. Someday, I'd love to try
screenwriting as well...but of course, that will
have to wait for now.
