About me:
La Palabra is a Cuban-born pianist, arranger,
composer, producer, singer, and writer who
pioneered Salsa Romántica in Los Angeles in 1981.
Known for blending Latin rhythms with jazz,
R&B, pop, rock, and soul, he performed with
legends like Eddie Palmieri, Richie Ray, and the
Joe Cuba Sextet. His iconic hits, including “El
Tun Tun de Tu Corazón” and “Rumores,”
helped redefine Latin music and establish his
lasting influence on the genre. |
