For a downward facing dog (adho mukha svanasana) - place the yoga block in front on you in a standing tall position; in the center of the yoga mat. Align your body in a table pose; with knees bent; erect torso; straight arms and elbows locked. Now, place your forehead on the yoga block and push your body into a dog pose; with your hips up, knees locked in; doing so pull the yoga block to balance on just one corner. Balance, press yourself and hold position as long as possible; and your downward facing dog (adho mukha svanasana) is complete.
