Las Vegas - Dramatic Las Vegas Metro Police body camera video shows the moments before a robbery suspect was shot and killed by officers.
The deadly shootout was captured on 4 different body cameras.
50-year-old Rex Wilson was killed after a chase that ended on the 215 beltway between Hualapai and Fort Apache.
Metro Police showed the videos during a news conference Monday. Four officers fired 36 rounds in the deadly confrontation. All four have been placed on paid administrative leave.
"It certainly appears like he intended to be shot by the police," said Undersheriff Kevin McMahill, Las Vegas Metro Police.
According to police, Wilson was behind 16 armed robberies. Officers say he is also responsible for a violent driveway carjacking in Henderson.
Police say the chase and eventual shooting of Wilson all started around 11:15PM near the Stratosphere on Wednesday.
